Burnlee House Apartment

Burnlee House was built in the very early 1800s and was originally a farm and stood as the only building, along with the pub as the only properties in the area, locally known as Burnlee. The house owned much of the surrounding land. During the War it became a refuge for evacuees and then in the 50's was converted into a residential home. We still have the original sign, ‘Burnlee House, Home for Ladies and Gentlemen’.

The house stood empty for a few years until it was bought by the previous family who brought up their four children here.

The apartment comprises the whole top floor of this beautiful three storey, detached house. There is a huge main bedroom with a king sized bed, a second bedroom with a king sized bed, large living area with a fully equipped kitchen and a log burning stove and a large bathroom with walk-in shower.

The views from the windows have been described as 'stunning'.
