Nottingham

Very welcoming on arrival. The extras were a nice touch and much appreciated, especially the homemade marmalade. The log fire made it very cosy and added to the character of the house. The views were fantastic from the apartment and the location was perfect for the village. All in all, a nice clean apartment with everything needed. Thanks for making us feel at home. 

Lincolnshire

Perfect location for our weekend break. A lovely cottage, everything you need. Thankyou for the lovely welcome pack. Walked around Digley and Yateholme resevoir was lovely too. Will reccommend to others and hopefully return again soon.

Worcestershire

We enjoyed our short break at the cottage. Loved feeding the ducks and the trout from the window. Saw a Heron, a Kingfisher and a vole. Warm and comfortable cottage, thankyou.

Massive 'Thank You' to Steve and Kate to let us stay in this beautiful cottage on the first day and night of our marriage. Absolutely loved the place, we felt so welcomed and privileged to stay here.

We have had a lovely week here in Holmfirth staying in your wonderful apartment. It is so cosy and welcoming. You have thought of everything. We will return again very soon and can't think of any place we would rather stay than Burnlee House.

Thank you Kate and Steve for a fantastic time. We had everything we could have ever wanted - the eggs were delicious!. To arrive somewhere and feel so instantly Christmassy (great decs!) was a joy. Hope to return soon.

Leeds

This is a highly recommendable holiday cottage. The location is excellent with a small local town with various touristy shops and amenities. Burnlee House ticks all the boxes for a relaxing, peaceful, picturesque and enjoyable break away from city life. I believe that this maybe one of the best holiday cottage in Holmfirth if not the Yorkshire region.
